Tuna

Hello

I was wondering if any one knew wheather you can dehdrate tuna in Brine from the can, I seem to hear so much on the internet that its best to dehiderate tuna in water, why is this so? and also does any one know tuna from the can can be dryed and stored for long term storage in a mylour bag and wheather or not it can be left on the shelf to be stored,thanks

I know its alot of questions sorry its just that im not getting much help from surfing the net

For dehydrating tuna, using all white packed in water will give you the best results. Fattier tunas and those packed in oil will tend to spoil easier.
