Just got 2 new survival toys.

I just got two new knives...not showing off or bragging, but just sharing ..here is the first one..an EKA Huner Nordic W11..more of a all purpose knife with Bubinga wood for the handle..a full tang with leather sheath...

The bottom pic is the Ontario Blackbird SK5....its a 125cm blade with Micarta handle, full tang. The sheath is cordura.

Good enough to test them out next week.

I like both of those. There is something about the Ontario that even though it's a really plain Jane I like the looks of it.

That is because it is a direct copy of the old Kepart style.

Probably has a thicker blade though, Ontario is onto that.

Will be testing those knives next week. But the Ontario is sure darn sharp...both knives are paper sharp but the Ontario is sharper. The EKA is a gem to handle but that does not leave the Ontario out...its a workhorse.
