Northern Cal - Bay Area edibles

Hi,
new to this forum. Wanted to start a dialogue around developing a knowledge base of wild edibles around around san francisco bay area.
If anyone has some good hints, please post them to this thread

i am more specifically interested in good places to find wild edible flowers, mushrooms, fruit trees and roots

I would recommend buying Kevins book, and if you aren't too far take a few of his classes. I have taken a few and would recommend him. The book contains information specifically for the bay area, and also has some tried and true recipes by Kevin and Mia.
