On The Way Home Today

Ominously beautiful photos.
Here in Virginia we started getting hit by them starting in the afternoon, however it's quiet out there now.

Those are cell phone pics? You, sir, have one incredible cell phone camera or you are more talented than any other cell phone user! Prolly a mix of both. Incredible!

Yea those are some great pictures and an incredible line.

We get some prolific thunder storms in Florida, often referred to as the lightning capital of the world (I know Rick.....another reason for the list). These are being caused by that cold front moving across the country. I know some got chilly temps from it - we're dropping into the low 80's for a day, which is a nice break from the mid 90's albeit only for a day.

Those are some great pics. My cell phone pics all look like bigfoot. Florida has some interesting weather. It seemed like every day had a 2:00 p.m. shower that lasted 20 minutes or less and then back to sunshine. 10 minutes later the streets are dry and you can't tell it even rained. I love stormy weather like that as long as there isn't any damage. Nature can put on some beautiful displays.

Crash, your pictures are fabulous. In central WI we have been having record storms and rainfall - thank the Lord! So we are seeing these cloud/weather fronts often (I call them Independence Day fronts after the movie where the alien ships moved in under cover of amazingly scary cloud formations - never forgot them).

Aye, really nice photos.
I'm glad for those storms here. I've finally sold my van so I'm officially an Old Pedestrian - I walk to work and it would be miserably hot if it were not for these storms moving through. People around here say that this year and the last have the wettest summers and last year had the snowiest winter they have had in a long time. I always tell them that I brought it from Alabama.
