I am new at tracking and I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what animal made these tracks and scat, as the tracks have been pretty obscured in the snow. I live in Storrs, CT (towards the northeastern corner of the state). Thanks in advance for any ideas or info!

Can't really tell the tracks and I'm not familiar with scat. I'm initially thinking feline, coon, or rabbit.
What ever it is it is carnivore. there is fur in the scat.
I'd have guessed rabbit on the prints and a small carnivore on the scat.
Agree on the tracks - rabbit.
Scat, some small predator. But there must be some more tracks around, maybe not very visible.
It's not rabbit because rabbits have round tight droppings these are loose and elongated. It looks rather like bob cat or fox scat.Quote:
