Meet Joel Lambert...
...former Navy Seal and Lone Target. I was watching the new Survivorman shows, getting a bit bored. You know, Les is in locations most of us will probably never visit. Then comes "Lone Target." Joel Lambert is a former Navy Seal and an expert at escape and evasion. His job is to go into different countries and challenge their best, elite military/police force by entering an area at "point A," and moving through some nasty terrain for 36 to 48 hours to an extraction point "B." Sometimes he makes it, and sometimes he doesn't. He moves with a cameraman and a producer whom he ditches if the situation warrants. He uses survival techniques when necessary and isn't afraid to lay booby traps. Another cameraman and producer travels with the trackers and you see what's going on from both sides...very interesting series.....:creepy:

Yes, I've been watching since the series premiered. I enjoy watching it. He gives some interesting tips and info over the course of each episode. One thing that is obvious is that the guy is still in incredible physical condition.

The thing is....
I like it that he fails sometimes. That way, since you know the possibility is there, you're never really sure if he's gonna make it or not. Prior to the series starting they showed some behind-the-show stuff. He said that he couldn't offer to do the show if he wasn't in shape so he started really working out!...:thumbup1:

Was looking for something new to watch thanks :) as pretty much had my fill of Les and Bear. Was getting a kick out of that show "Dude Your Screwed" as well but it seems to have just stopped airing after Ep. 04?

His film crew has gotta be good also to keep up with him and not give away his position. Easier to do if you are just one guy but harder when you have a few people following you with camera gear. I wonder if they served also in the military. I saw one wearing an army PT shirt in the Africa episode for about a second. Anyone can get those online but if they are just as physically fit as he is then perhaps they are also former military. I liked the behind the scenes episode where they showed the heat and humidity taking some of the crew down. My favorite episode is the one where he goes up against the Polish border security and how he beat their thermal imaging using a sheet of glass. Even in the episodes where he does not physically get caught it is pretty sobering to realize they could have probably shot him. He barely stays ahead enough so they can't put their hands on him which is how the rules of the game work. I like some of the counter tracking on the show that he uses also. Good techniques.
