S&w m&p .40
Hello,
My department, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office switched over from the old S&W 4046 to the M&P .40, I'll miss my 4046 since I've carried it since 1994, but I gotta say the M&P .40 is one awesome weapon. I shot 100% (although i have shot it before) and the weapon is way lighter than the old boat anchor we had, the sights are dead on, it comes with different grip sizes, and we carry 46 rounds on us in three mags and one in the pipe. If you're looking for a great gun you won't go wrong here, I still love my Taurus PT/24-7 9mm but for a duty weapon this gun rocks. It only has 5 lube points, breaks down super easy, only has 4 parts, and is easily cleaned and maintained, the recoil is nil, it has ambidextrous mag release for lefties, the night sights are wonderful, the TAC rail on the bottom fits the surefire flashlight so searching dark scary places for unwanted scumbags is easily handled. Again a great weapon.
Just my 2¢ worth.
Oh I just completed my 23 year of service in the sheriff's office, at 30 years I'm history and Montana bound.

Beo, How is your son doing.........

He's doing real good, going to skool (college) getting ed-u-ma-kated, working a full time job, and has the sweetest girlfriend. Keeps to himself a lot, he's quiet like me. But he's busy so I mostly see him for laundry and money, food and money, and advice and money. He's a good ole Irish boy though.
Thanks for asking.
