My first hand made knife
Took me a few days, 4 to be exact. Its 301 stainless aircraft steel, stainless machine screws, the handle is white oak that i got off a shipping crate. I am deployed, so the wood was a lil hard to come by. Just curious if i did anything wrong, and see if i can get some pointers, I plan on making 6 more before i head back home...keeps me sane...and out of trouble.

Thank you , and Thank you. I work on Helicopters, and we have scrap laying around, and alot of down time. What we dont have is material for handles. I am going to try and get creative with the handle material, and the fasteners....we have brass stock, but i have never worked with it...should get interesting.

It looks fine to me and thank you for your service.

My first blade was from 1095 at 1/4" and I discovered very quickly how time consuming it is. But thats a slick looking blade mate
