We "LOST" the box "Todays Posts".
Click on box "New Posts".
Just a notice: we lost our favicon. :)
That ONLY gives the new posts from the last visit. I will often speed through all of (What was) Todays Posts, find two or three I want to respond too later. When I come back in a 1/2 hour all that shows is posts in the last 1/2 hour.Quote:

Sometimes when I try to post, the page freezes and I lose everything I typed. This is the only site on which it happens so I'm pretty sure it's not related to this new pc.

Are you being "logged off", or do you just lose that post?
Make certain you are ticking the box "Remember Me" below your logon. That sets a cookie so you don't get logged off. You have some long posts (good information, not being critical) but you will time out while composing your post if that box is not ticked. When you go to post, poof!, you'll be gone.
On any forum, form, content page, etc, anything I'm doing on the internet. If I type something long, I ALWAYS hit ctrl-A ctrl-C (to copy my information to the clipboard) before I post. I do it out of habit, but there are numerous things that can go wrong and I hate losing my posts, so this way, I can save it. cheap insurance.
Or you you can use for example Lazarus with Firefox, or another form managing tool what can remember what you wrote. :)
I have tried to connect threads to facebook, but it comes back that the server is not redirecting correctly.
Lately I've been copying and pasting into notepad before I post. "Remember me" is checked and I'm not getting logged off, rather a box comes up that says "WSF is not responding". And for some reason, I lose what is saved on the clipboard.. that's why I paste into notepad. Just this morning, I had to try 3 times to post to the beehive thread. Losing the post on the page also loses the info on the clipboard too, for some reason.
Have you tried a different browser? I'm running Firefox and I've never had that happen.
