Teen High on 'Bath Salts' Kills Neighbor's Goat,

CHARLESTON, W.V. - A 19-year-old man who told police he was "high for days" is accused of killing his neighbor's pygmy goat in his bedroom.
When lawmen found Mark Thompson hiding in the woods, he was covered in blood and wearing a bra and panties, according to the Charleston Gazette.
Lisa Powers says one of Thompson's acquaintances called her nephew Monday, saying her newly-acquired pygmy goat was loose in Thompson's house.
When the nephew and two women went over to retrieve the animal, they found Thompson dressed in women's clothing next to the dead animal. Thompson ran off when they tried to question him.
Police got a search warrant, and according to the newspaper, inside the bedroom they found the small gray and white goat wearing a pink collar lying dead on the floor. Next to the animal was a pornographic magazine photo.
Officers say the animal looked like it had been stabbed in the neck, and possibly sexually assaulted. The animal will be examined in a necropsy.
When police caught up with Thompson, he allegedly told them he'd been high on "bath salts" for three days.
The stimulant drugs, which are often a synthetic amphetamine known as MDPV, are marketed over-the-counter in many head shops as "bath salts." The DEA has issued warnings after many people died after ingesting drugs sold as "bath salts."
