Fuel
I don't know how many of you have a bug out plan that involves a truck, a trailer and or a boat. Our plan involves all three of these. The major issue for us was that we wanted to stock up on fuel before the gas prices hit even MORE ridiculous prices! Sure, it would be cheaper and easier to get those plastic gas cans and fill them up, but would those prove to be sturdy enough? Could they fall out of the back of the truck and not spill or crack? So, we came across the idea of real NATO Jerry Cans. They are sturdy and small enough to pack up with all the other essentials. Just wanted to share my finding to my fellow survivalists alike! Let me know if you need any information as to where to find them!

So how long are you planning on storing and what do you use to keep it from going bad?
Are you talking these?

Don't forget the flexible spout. Better not say the military term for it. :)

I intend to have a boat for when TEOTWAWKI happens. For fuel it uses wind, it's alternative "engine" uses grilled pieces of dead animals, cooked fish, some vegetables and a lot of home brewed beer.
