Cal-Hawk Machete Sheath
I had fun with this one...Took me awhile to decide how I wanted to do it...But a little here and a little there We got it...My Fiance even got involved and helped....
First we dyed some canvas...

Next we cut it to size, we used .060" polystyrene sheet for the inards...

I am pleased with what we came up with! Best thing is Me and my girl made it together!

Outdoor carpet glue and polycarbonate ratchet rivets hold it together.

I have a fair amount of materials left over if anyone decides they like the idea. I really like it because my machete sheath was a sock not a sheath. I will be adding to it so more to come...

Thanks Crash,
I haven't had a chance to use the Cal-Hawk Machete yet. I did tune up the edge quite a bit and the steel seams to be pretty descent. I plan to put it through the paces and see how it holds up. May be a candidate for a rehandle, I am not fond of the plastic scales. Maybe some Crashcarta of the same material as the sheath would be a nice combo. For 7 bucks, I figured it'd be worth trying it out.
