Moving is hard work. I hope you can find something that will fulfill your needs and give you happiness.
Change is a two-sided coin...perhaps you'll find a better place....good luck......BH51
May be a blessing in disguise :)
Indeed, things happen for a reason. Winnie jnr has already mentioned moving closer to him.
It's all those boxes, I'll have nightmares again!
Dang....sorry to here that, Winnie. I'll keep my fingers crossed, that it turns out to be a good thing for you.
Winnie: I did a post-divorce move four years ago. Other than the divorce, the best thing that happened was getting rid of several decades of useless junk. I'm happier than I've ever been.
BTW, why not the US? You could do it legally or illegally.
Sorry to hear this. I know moves are disruptive, hope all works out for you
I'd happily move to US. Not sure what the requirements are these days. I really must speak to someone about the who's, what's why's and stuff. I looked online last year, but there's so much conflicting info. So if anyone knows anyone.....
Good luck. Perhaps the new owner will continue to let you rent. You could ask the current landlord to make an inquiry for you when he finds a buyer. Here's a link to the government web site for citizenship.

Winnie... heck just marry one of us.....2 years later BAM you are a American LOL
That's the ticket, Winnie, but not without a little wooing.
So I suggest one of the boys start a thread "Marry Me Winnie" and let's see what a little competition brings out. Photos are a must!
I, of course, will be more than happy to act as your US marriage agent and advisor in separating the riff from the raff.
Hey, hey, now hang on a minute, marriage of convenience.....hmmm.....that could work! :)And I trust Bee's judgement, Mr Bee might be a bit miffed if I ask her to "roadtest" any prospects though. Oh, outhouse door good. I've had the wind whistling round the Cairngorms and it puts you off!:blushing:
Update.... I'm going to look at a property tomorrow. The rent is £200 less than I'm paying at the moment, a big plus. The garden is bigger and I can have the girls and a veg garden if things work out. Also, also... there's buses!
For £200 less I'm not expecting top notch living, but it has an indoor outhouse(with a door), a shower, running water(in taps) a fireplace and all the basics. I'll post a further update tomorrow after the viewing. Cross everything for me!
I'm sending a great big package of good luck you're way. When one door closes another opens. I hope everything works out.
Winnie, that's fabulous!!! Prayers and good wishes.
Send pics.
I knew there was a silver lining. Good Luck on the new pad. I hope you like it and saving $200 a month is a HUGE bonus!
So which do you prefer, Riff, or Raff, because I know some of both..
Good luck Winnie,I hope this place is even better than the current abode!
