Have a great Tuesday!!!
Don't know if this storm will allow for me to visit with y'all for most of the week, so I hope y'all have a good one!! LOL!
I'm going to get a couple loads of laundry done, run my dish washer, get a shower, and wash my dog before bed...because there is a GOOD chance we could not have electricity when I need it. YUCK!
Got my "buddy" heater up stairs with 24 hours of heat at the ready, my water buckets filled so if I have to drain my pipes I can just fill my tub, and my camp stove upstairs so I can have my cup-o-joe in the morning. All I'll miss is y'all and your interesting knowledge and rantings. :( Now I am sad. ;)
Be warm and be safe, y'all!!

Stay safe. If you have to use the heater and stove make sure you do it safely.
-
Never leave the heater unattended!! Be safe and stay warm!
-
Oh - and if you don't have them already - get CO detectors in addition to your smoke detectors.
-
all hell breaks loose around here if people don't have power. I'll just toss on some more clothes and grab a few more blankets. I've done the winter thing with minimal heat. I hope you don't have to deal with it, but if you do, be safe and stay warm. I hope you have a few good books.

So far so good! It's pretty bad out there, but thankfully no ice yet. I hear it's coming though. UGH.
Yeah, we don't use the heater OR the camp stove outside the kitchen. ;) Tile floor, fire extinguisher, and CO and fire detectors are all found in that room. We gather here to play games when the electricity goes out anyway.
Makin' bread today! Hope to get it all done so that if we DO lose electricity I won't have to drive to the store. The roads are terrible!

Good luck T hope it turns out to be not as bad as predicted, like here. We (so far) missed the bullet and are just getting rain.

How nice, thanks Trabitha.Tuesday is going pretty good so far.
We're in the process of getting 6-8 inches from storm #1
There's about 6 inches on the ground now.
Then storm #2 moves in for tomorrow morning.
That one could bring 12-15 inches. We already have a snow pack of close to 30 inches.
Most folks here spend the weekend shoveling their roofs,as did I.
Stay safe and warm and good luck to you.Hopefully the power stays on and you'll get through this without an issue.
Update us from time to time.
Take care...

5 inches today, more to come tomorrow...just seems like winter in Maine to me. I cant wait to take the Ski Doo out this weekend..all this powder is going to be a blast! All you folks getting ice...be safe and stay warm!

Man...I'm swimming in snow out here...you guys are drowning!!! Got us some ice last night. Thankfully school was called out for the past 2 days and there have been no dispatches for my husband, so he's been home too. Everyone around us lost electricity. We lucked out. We did hear trees falling in the back though. Lord that's scary to wake up to. I was so worried one would come through the house... I really SHOULD get the snow and ice off my porch roof...but my logic states that insurance can buy me a new roof...not a new back. Ouch! I'll just pray that it stays up.
Today we inventory and prepare for my pantry to be built...just to pass the time. Wooo!
YOU GUYS be VERY careful! I've got NOTHING compared to you. We'll be thinking of you!!

Down here in east Texas we got some ice but the temps are something else. 70 here last saturday and 13 lastnight. Not looking for sympathy as I spent most of my life in the north (Iowa) and know only to well how those winter storms can be. All you folks up there stay warm and be very careful in the house or out. Both can be dangerous during bad winter weather.
