A great day today.

For the first time in what seems like months we've had a lovely sunny day, cold, but sunny. It's been wonderful. I've spent the morning shifting and stacking a load of logs(one of my favourite winter jobs) I cleaned out the Girls, and generally pottered about. I've just come in, had a bowl of Squash Soup and a sammich. I'm going to find homes for all those Planters that arrived the other day, they're actually blue plastic barrels cut in half, but they'll do the job just right. I also have about half a ton of compost to shift! The weather is supossed to hold til tomorrow so I've got some more time outside. Happy days.:)

We're suppose to get all forms of precipitation today.
Started out snow this morning,now sleet,then later freezing rain and rain.
I'm at work right now but can here the sleet bouncing off the window.We have about 16 inches of snow on the ground already from the last storm.
Looks like it going to be another hunker down day by the wood stove after the commute home.
Glad you have nice weather across the pond.

Freezing rain this morning, wimped out and am working from home. Its a aproximately 100 miles round trip so discretion is the better part of valor
