Nessmuk like knife
I just got this one done this afternoon. It is 1084 steel and osage orange handles. I was going to make this a scandi, but didn't like how it was coming out. It looks like it will be a good skinner/woods knife. I have never used a nessy out in the wood, but in the kitchen they are great. I am waiting on some leather to come in for the sheath.

Oldtrap
Wife just looked over my shoulder and asked if I thought maybe you would think I liked the knife. lol

Another dandy. Love the scales.

Great looking knife Can't beat Osage.
-
That is probably my favorite knife that I have seen on this site. great stuff.
-
Is this for someone or what? I want it and will make my own sheath.
-
That is a nice looking knife.

A very nice knife.
And I commend yo on labeling it a "Nesmuck Like knife".
Has anyone ever read Nesmuck's discription of his knife? He was very specific in the requirements. Hardly anyone makes a knife as he specified. Todays market would not buy it.

Now that I think of it, I'd say its closer to a bullnose style blade shape.
-
I like it. Is it a convex grind?
-
Its a flat grind, convex grinds come out weird looking for me at this point. Though I am working on that skill at the moment.
