So sad :(
This letter was written by my 10 year old niece .
THe docs have told my sister that the continued and increase in amount of Grand Mal seizures that JoJo has are a signal that the end is drawing near for him,no time line given.
She has not told her other 2 kids,but @ 8 and 10,they have seen enough on their own to draw their own conclusions.
Below it was a picture of Josiah in heaven with all the people in heaven. God is off to the side of the picture (He looks like a big angel). There is a stairway to heaven that she says we are on. On the earth below are the people that are still left behind or the bad people.

So sad, who does one prepare that the young ones for this? I don't think there is anyway. Thoughts and prayers are with you all

Children have an uncanny sense when something is wrong and can be surprisingly philosophical about life and death. It's heartwrenching to be in the midst of such a tragic circumstance and I feel for you and the family, Nell.

At a time like this there are no words that can really help ease the hurting.
You and all your family have my deepest sympathy and will be in my prayers .

Nell, Josiah, Anna and the family will be in my prayers. I agree with what Winnie said. Perhaps encouraging and letting the kids know its ok to talk about it and ask questions.

I feel for you and your sister family. When this happened to my sons begle we had a funeral on the farm and each family member did or said theri own thing. Our son was 12 and our daughter was 7. Yes children since when things are not going well so let them express themselves and learn that greiving is a part of life not something to hide or be ashamed of. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Here are pics of Josiah with his mom (my lil sis) and one with his dad and Anna at dads AIT graduation earlier this month,another sad twist to this,is dad Steve joined the military full time this spring to have insurance to pay for Josiah's medical care,in doing so,he will miss most of the time that Josiah has left,dad was home for a few days after graduation and is now in Washington state stationed at Ft.Lewis.
Jen and the kids will follow when/if their house sells.
