Not sure what quite has happened, but the email alerts for new posts, pm's etc does not seem to be funtioning. I've checked my profile and have made certain all the necessary boxes are ticked. Any ideas?

It sound like your email server is having a problem. My yahoo alerts is working fine right now.
Nope, they're not being sent to spam. I'm at a loss as to what has happened. It seemed to coincide with the server move. (Perhaps it can't get over the Atlantic)
Yes, What JC said...
Can I have techno dolly instructions to do that please?
go to User CP, (upper left) click on "edit Options) scroll down to bottom of page and click on reset fields, then go back to the top of the page and check your email address and make sure the "Instant email notification to subscribed threads" box is checked, the "Save"
Followed instructions, hopefully that's solved the problem. Thanks Justin!!
SPAM? SPAM? Did someone say SPAM!!!! Oh, not that good kind ..... nevermind.:helpsmilie:
Mmmm.. Spam and eggs does sound good ! :)
Well, that didn't work.
Sorry Winnie,, I cant think of any other reason why,, Unless you have a spam anti virus that is filtering them out before they even get into your mail,, depending on the antivirus software, you may or may not see them anywhere in you mail folders,, Maybe you could set up another free email account, Like gmail or hotmail,, then change it in your options here ?
It is probably being blocked by a spam filter.
Some places have two tiers. Hard spam gets blocked, soft spam gets through but tossed in your junkmail folder. This might be hard spam.
With the server move the IP address changed and maybe your mailserver doesn't like the site's new IP address. Maybe it was blacklisted previously from someone who used to use the IP address before I got it.
I have another mail address, do you think it would help if I used that. Or would my security still prevent the emails getting through.
Is your other email address with your same provider? If it is, and the problem is a spam filter, it may not help. If it is from another provider then give it a try and see what happens.
Right, I'm going to try the other email address as it's a yahoo account.
