What have you found for a good price on each........?
I like it. It has a nice grind on it. Well suited for slicing and skinning, but robust enough for heavy chores.

Crash is that a CR-5 or a CR-4, the blade looks short.......?
That looks like a flat grind.....?
i found one for around 120. but if it will last me a neer lifetime it will be more than worth it. im not too much into how a knife looks but how it performs, rick how well has yours held up?
I have the RAT 7 and I don't have any complaints with it. It's my work horse and it's done everything I've asked of it. It holds an edge pretty well, too.
$120 is way too much. Try these folks. If this doesn't work for you, let me know.

That's a good price Rick.
Sourdough - let me grab it and snap a couple of pics. Yes to the flat grind and handle length is very comfortable. The newer ones (with the ESEE stamp) also have a little divot in the handle so that you can use it as a bearing block for the spindle of your bow drill. Not sure if they are doing that on other sizes as well.
Looks like I need to clean it up a bit (sits in storage bin in truck). Also, it is not 1/4" thick, but rather 3/16".
And a couple more.
If it's a 1/4" thick blade you want in about that same size - I've got the Becker BK2 (now owned by K-Bar). They run in the $55 range.

The BK13 is still made in the U.S.
