That sparked an idea in my head. Why not carry a self contained box of dental floss in my kit? Besides the obvious flossing, the stuff is incredible strong. I think it will make the perfect line for keeping in my minimal bag.
It is self contained, has it's own cutter and most boxes contain 100 yards.
Lashing, trip wire, small snares, fishing line oh and dental care.
I have also thought about refilling an empty floss container with synthetic sinew and maybe another one with fishing line.
