Remember Glass Wax?
Any of you folks remember Glass Wax?

That stuff worked great on glass and metal - left a nice protective finish on most everything. I thought it was the best stuff on the market by far.
(It had other uses as well. :blushing: Drive-in Movies. Wipe it on the inside of the windows and it dried to a nice fine glaze. NOBODY could see inside your car. When you were done (watching the movie, of course) you could just wipe it off and your windows were crystal clear.)
I believe that they stopped making the stuff sometime in the 90's. About 8 years ago, I spotted 6 cans in a little hardware store on Cape Cod and bought 'em all. I used it sparingly, but ran out a couple of years ago.
Guess what? There's a replacement product on the market now! It's supposed to be exactly like the original Glas Wax. :)

I do,, Car wax works also,, If you wax your glass on your car it is just like that rain-X stuff, almost dont need wipers.
-
You can rub a sliced potato on your windshield and get the same effect as rain X for a lot less money.
