I was wondering...
If any of you are blacksmiths? See I need a new hawk (tomahawk, seems my son left mine on the floor in the basement and the puppy decided it would be great to chew on my handle and now I got a frig'n stub of splinters) simple design is great with a hatchet side and spike side and a curly maple handle. If anyone makes these let me know and I'll gladly pay ya for making me one.

kid? Hey Kiiidddd....
I'm thinking Kid Coteau might be your best bet, partner. that's one of the trades that I'd love to get a shot at just trying my hand at y'know? But try and find a working blacksmith these days....

Can you post a picture of the remains or of what you are wanting? I can't help you but it might generate some ideas amongst the pack. I have a mental picture of what you're taking about but could be completely wrong.
Is it like the one you posted here?

You know, you can make a new handle, it's not too hard.
I have an extra brand new never thrown throwing hawk downstairs, if you want it let me know. You can do like I did, cut the top down to the head, sand the handle and stain, make pretty, maybe put on some rawhide, sinew. I even have some rawhide if you need it.

Or if you want, I'll make it pretty for ya.
It'll take till after the holidays though.
