I was in Tandy Leather store today and an older gentleman was telling the clerk that he had a picture of a Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake that was 15' long! I couldn't help myself as he stated that it might be a record. I told him it would be damned near twice the size of a record rattler.
I told him that the largest rattlesnake was an eastern diamondback that went 8'. He said I was wrong cause he has caught rattlers over 8' quite a few times. He also said that he had a rattler at home that would be about 10' in diameter.
Ok then. Just sayin is all.
Turns out it was 7' 3". Folks just don't like dealing with the truth. LOL
