shoulder bag
Just got in a maxpidition Jumbo versipak an man this thing looks and feels bomb proof. I am going to load it up and make it my everyday carry bag when i get out on the local trail or to one of the lakes with my dog . I usually practice a skill when I am out like this which is usualy daily make a fire from scratch or us one an alchol stove or tommy cooker and make tea, coffee , soup or when I am really partyingdown COCO I also like to make a few wood frames for shelter or or rod holders for the fishermen.

The flint, steel, and black char can that holds the char. and flint are now carried on a little belt pouch.

I have more shoulder bags aka possibles bags than my wife.

I managed to pick up an army "butt" pack with a cargo strap some 30 years ago amdhave used, repaired, and modified it to the point that I can think of nothing I'd rather use or keep those items which keep my life safe.

Those butt packs are great. Surprising how much they hold and just tie on the poncho and liner.

This is one of my first waist packs that I made (1980). I do have a shoulder bag that I carry too. Have to find a pic of it though. The waist pack is my fire starting tools.

I stil have a complete set of LBE but even here in WV is get some strange looks when I wear it, maybe it is the CAR Bushmaster hanging on my chest.
