GPS Map Software
I've got a Garmin GPSMap 60CSx, and I'd like to buy some mapping software to load on the memory card that came with it. My intent after I go the thing over a year ago was to research all of the options. I'm primarily interested in topographic maps, but the street maps seem cool too. It's already got major highways loaded on it.
Have any of you got experience with this type of thing and could provide some pointers. There are a lot of options to choose from.

I'm using an older version of Mapsource. I figure the topo isnt going to change much and there are no real roads where I bring it anyways.

Sorry, but my older model doesn't have map software....I don't think.

Mine only came with road maps. It was very generic and only covered highways. I can download maps though so I found a used copy of Mapsource on ebay for a song and it works fine for my needs. If I need to find my way around on the dirt logging roads, I will use the GPS to find where I am on the map (gazetteer) and go from there. It works fine for me.

Aargh. You know, I also have a Garmin nuvi 755T. I forgot about that one. I just plug it in to the computer and update it at the Garmin site. I haven't downloaded any other software other than the updates Garmin puts out.

The nuvi is a different animal though and I dont know if you can load the topo's into it. I have never played with mine other than to update it from their website.
