I meet tourist in the summer, maybe they are stuck, or out of gas, or they are lost. Some people are so special (Them, Not Me).

That would be a badge of honor to me. I would love to be " guy with geese...... 11 miles from town" I only get to play that on the weekends and vacation. My camp (camp10) is a mile and a half down a logging road outside a town that has about 100 people in it.

That is sooooo cool. I remember as a kid we used to address letters to CITY. You just wrote a name on it and then CITY and it got delivered. Yeah, that's a small town.

LOL, does this sound familiar.
I can remember that my mother got a letter from a friend of my father after he passed away.
They had worked together as forest rangers.
Address said:

Henry's wife
In little gray house, with red shutters
Kitty-corner across the steet from grade school where she teaches.

One year I had forgot my turkey tags at home, but because I had left early, had the wife mail them to me, to the local saloon in a western Wisconsin town.

She said, "What is the address?"
I said, "just mail it to the town, there is only one saloon open."
I got it on Monday..........

We have a post office box and they have us listed as "The long blue house on the SW corner of Crawford and Main and we live in town. Big switch from Chicago burbs. I kind of like that, keeps some family confused as to were we live.
