Personal update!

Hey. I haven't gotten the chance to chat with many of you on here, however the ones I have have been wonderful people. I thought it a good idea to update those of you that had taken an interest. As of this evening I have moved out of the woods, out of my tent, and into an apartment of a friend. I'm staying in his spare bedroom. Tomorrow morning at 8:30 I start work in a nursing home as a CNA. It will be my first time working in over 2 years. In short, things are working out.

I was slightly disappointed that after finishing my outdoor "space heater" from a 20 gal drum it rained so continuously that I couldn't find any dry wood to use. By this morning when I packed my stuff my tent was unfortunately 6 inches deep in water. Who loves FL? :tongue_smilie: *please note sarcasm*

I did get the chance to use my smaller one made from the ravioli can, and it was great! I may have to make a new one just to keep around.

Anyways, things are indeed looking up for this formerly homeless member.

Thanks for all the help that made life out there more bearable. You guys hold a special place in my heart just in the short time I've been here. I'll certainly still be sticking around! Thanks again everyone!

That's awesome WK. I'm glad you got into someplace with a real roof and walls. nobody likes sleeping in 6" of water except well.. maybe FL gators lol. We wish you the best with the new job and lodging.
