High Winds Hit Ohio, Feb. 2009

Well we had our butts handed to us last night. Winds hit over 70 mph and did a lot of damage. Power outages all over the place. :eek:

We received a lot of rain as well, rivers are over flowing. The last couple of days the temperatures hit 60 and melted over two feet of heavy snow. This was the first thaw since early December.

My place held up just fine but my girl friends took some damage. The wind blew off some siding, tore off the roof of a shed, and dropped a nice size limb on the back of the house. :(

We are still receiving 30 mph winds and are under a high wind advisory until 7:00pm tonight. The temperatures are dropping as well.

All is fine though. :) I know this front has hit a big part of the country so I hope everyone else made it through OK. :confused:

Be safe PGV,I got it yesterday,and things are calm and warm today,no power outages in this county that amounted to anything much,although counties around here got socked pretty good,and whole communities in Kentucky are without power (again!) some of those people had just gotten their power back after the ice storm 2 weeks ago!

Breezy today but the winds have calmed a LOT. Now if the flood water would recede.
