Hey everyone!

I’ve been getting lash extensions for a while now, and honestly, I used to be so scared to touch them because I didn't want them to fall out. But my lash tech recently told me that just using water isn't enough to get rid of all the oils and makeup buildup.

I finally started using a proper lash shampoo, and oh my god, what a difference! My lashes actually stay fluffy for much longer, and I don't get that itchy feeling anymore. It’s crazy how much "junk" builds up there if you don't wash them properly.

Does anyone else have a favorite brand or a specific routine they swear by?

I’m currently using one that I really love because it’s super gentle and doesn't sting my eyes at all. I'll drop the link below if anyone is looking for a good recommendation!

I totally feel you! I was the same way when I first started—I was terrified that even looking at them too hard would make them fall out. But you’re so right, the "lash crust" is real if you don't clean them properly.

I’ve been using the Stacylash Lash Shampoo for a few months now and it’s been a total game changer for me. It’s super foamy and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all.

My little routine:

I use a soft eyeshadow brush to really get the foam into the lash line.

Rinse with cool water.

Crucial step: Pat them dry gently and then use a mini fan (or a hair dryer on the cold setting) while brushing them out with a spoolie.

It makes them look brand new every single morning! Glad you finally made the switch to a real cleanser—your natural lashes will definitely thank you later.

I totally agree, it’s crazy how much of a difference a good cleaning makes! I personally swear by StacyLash shampoo https://stacylash.com/collections/eyelash-extensions-shampoo because it’s super gentle and never stings my eyes. It definitely keeps my lashes looking fluffy and lasting way longer than they used to!
