help geting stickers out of clothing

Dose anyone have any tricks for getting out the little stickers that get matted in your clothing when you go on autumn walks through the forest? They have taken over my hoodi and I need it.

This is all because of that 'cleaning out sticky's' thread isn't it, missy? Well...no, I have no idea, patience and keep yanking on them, that's all I do :D

The only realistic way I've ever found is tweezers and lots of time, then you gotta be careful not to bugger the threads pulling out the stickers.

or maybe gorilla tape since its about the most sticky tape I know of.
or maybe a fine brush with light strokes.
I've never tried these methods though

my horses manes are full of burdock pain to pull out if you can wear an outer shell that is not condusive to the tiny hooks on the stickies it helps other than that i do it the old fashioned way i just pull them off

O.G. I agree with Trax, it's a pain (no pun intended), but that's the only way. You could pay someone.:D

I've had some success using a dog brush to remove them. Still had to pick off a few, but the brush got most.

I've got a question-----does anybody know how to get stickers out of a dog brush?:D

we use a number of things to detangle them from our horses, the best are either pam cooking spray or wd-40 and some serious brushing. never tried any of that on the clothes. I usually just tell my kids to do it as part of the laundry chores;)

in all seriousness though I throw the clothes away and buy new ones!:D

you gotta be sh!tting me wd-40 on your horses? i ususally just pick while they are eating oats at night if they are still there who cares they ain't show ponies

OK, maybe so clarity might be in order. when you go to the barber (or stylist if thats your method) they put this cloth around your neck to keep you from getting cut hair down in your neck and clothes...same principle we lay a towel under the mane, tied around the other side, and work the wd-40 in small amounts on specific sticktites/cockaburs and then brush them out. that is followed with a bath and brushing. it does work quite well and does no harm to the horses (vet actualy told us about it for those stubborn ones)

this is usually a last resort as pam typically does very well, and either is usually only used in the case of upcoming show where we dont want any cutting an pullin when brushing out.
