A couple matches into the Black Ops 7 beta and you’ll clock it fast: aim and the right gun are doing the real work, not some miracle slide-cancel. The Graz 45k is friendlier for newer players, though. Less “instant erase,” more “stay alive and keep shooting.”.



Marksman rifles and snipers: lane control is real
The M8A1 marksman rifle is the problem child of the beta. Four-round burst, super clean beam, and it’ll beat full-auto rifles when you’re holding a heady and playing patient. If your lobby likes to ego-challenge long sightlines, this thing will farm them. Snipers aren’t dead either. The VS Recon gives you those satisfying chest one-shots, while the XR-3 ION feels awkward with that burst delay, like you’re always a half-step late.



Secondaries and anchors: don’t ignore the boring stuff
Your sidearm choice matters more than people admit. The Jäger 45 is the trusty “save my life” pistol when you’re dry and one shot away from losing the point. The CODA 9 is fun because it’s basically a tiny SMG, but you’ll burn ammo so fast you’ll swear the mag’s got a hole in it. And if you’re the person locking a zone down, the MK.78 LMG does the job, as long as you stop pretending it’s built for sprinting corners.
