Welcome Scott, I'm a newbie here myself, and everybody has been absolutely amazing here. This is a wonderful community.

Congratulations on living "off-grid". I'm still fully "on-grid", due to my wife liking the hair dryer and other amenities that come with electricity. You should check out my blog, the link is in my signature, I'd love to live off-grid, but I just haven't grown the hair on my balls to do it yet.

Scott, do you think with a wife who grew up in a wealthy family that had everything, by everything I mean a housekeeper and living on the ninth hole of a golf course, you get the idea, anyways, do you think that kind of wife would ever live "off-grid", or does anybody here think I could get her to do that?

Anyways, welcome to the community, and please share (when you can) about how living "off-grid" is!

Well thank you, I tip my hatless head to you. (I hope you were posting to me) I admire the way you live. I wish my genitals were 1/2 as big as yours. I don't know if I could ever truly live 'off-grid', unless I had too, which is what I am preparing for, with Russia and China growing so powerful, it should only be another 5-10 years before they storm our shores, or come up through Mexico.:(

Either way, I believe were fuc*ed eventually. Especially with our government now completely controlling our banking system. There are no longer any checks and balances. The financial system is now run by politicians.
