During the holidays I took a ton of family pictures on my iPhone, and when everyone gathered at my place, people wanted to see them all at once. Passing the phone around was kind of awkward, and some relatives could barely see the smaller details on the screen. It got me thinking, is there a quick way to throw all those photos onto a TV so the whole group can watch together without fussing over cables or adapters?

I had a similar moment at my sister’s birthday party, and instead of making people scroll through my phone, I mirrored everything onto the TV. The simplest solution I’ve found is using DoCast. It connects through Wi-Fi and works with photos, videos, and even music. If you want to try it, just download (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/docast-screen-mirroring-to-tv/id6446948344). It made the whole thing easier because everyone could sit comfortably and enjoy the slideshow on the big screen.

What I really like about situations like that is how effortless it feels when technology doesn’t get in the way of spending time with loved ones. Instead of breaking the flow by handing devices back and forth, the focus stays on the moments and the conversations. It feels more natural when everyone sees the same thing at the same time, making the gathering warmer and more engaging without anyone needing to juggle gadgets.
