This past Sunday, me and my parents went hiking to see 2 waterfalls and an old uncompleted railroad tunnel. Thought you all might enjoy so here it is...

The tunnel and Issaqueena falls are right by each other.

I love that area. But we are still in a big drought, so unfortunately the waterfalls aren't nearly as spectacular as they should be.

......but did you talk to the cute girl?

Unfortunately, no. My parents had already ruined any chance that I might have had with their comments.

I know what you mean. I always hated it when my parents talked about my bed wetting in front of new friends.:eek::D:D

Great pic's, so that means you're going to have to go back when the waters really flowing and take more pictures for us! Daniel, it's a tough job, but someones got to do it. ;)

Great pics. Where abouts is this? Anywhere close to Blood Mountain?

It's in Walhalla, SC. About 2 hours east of Blood Mountain.

I would love to go back when the drough is over. But it will take a lot of rain to bring the water levels up to where they are supposed to be. We have been in a drought for many years. The lake near us is even down by several feet (more than 15 feet). Inlets are now growing brush taller than me in areas that was covered by several feet of water.

But one day...

Gotcha, thought you were hiking in GA. All you need is a good hurricane. Heii, we got a tropical storm and everything flooded.

It's only about an hour from the GA/SC line on I-85. The part of GA I'm in doesn't get the hurricane, but the remnants are often what we get.
