How about the shut down of each and every avenue the public at large has to divest themselves of US dollar assets and then devalue the dollar like it was 1934?
Cut supply of bullion to the mint. Check.
Cut credit lines to individuals and small businesses. Check.
Cut credit card limits or suspend altogether. Check.
Capital controls at border crossings. Check.
Now imagine hyper-inflation in everything but your wage and/or creditline.
