We have had a lot of new folks join the forum over the last couple of weeks. More than usual it seems. So I thought I'd toss out a few "do's and don'ts" for you.
1. Know the forum rules. There are taboo subjects so it's wise to know what they are:

2. There is a lot of good information, including "how-to's" found here:

3. The US Army Survival Manual is posted on here with a lot of subjects:

4. Use the Search function. The Search button is toward the right in the green bar at the top of the page. You are limited to words four (4) letter words and above (you can't search of "the" for example). However, you can find a LOT of information using the search feature. If you can't find what you're looking for just ask. It's helpful to know you actually DID a search so something like..."I did a search and couldn't find any information on..."
There are over 4000 threads posted on here so it's a pretty good bet that most subjects have been hashed at least once.
5. If you don't know how to do something, just ask. PM me and I'll be happy to assist. If you have a question about the forum, same thing.
6. You'll see some advertising here and there. If you interested in the subject then click on the ad. It pays the freight for Chris and helps keep the forum running.
