I am a member in other forums, and have never done an intro before: so here goes:
I am head of household of a family who follows the Lord, including self. I was a social worker, but the pay was limited. I am a locomotive engineer. DW and I are pro 2A, but are not rabidly so. It is a right, not a requirement.
I don't know all my neighbors, and there are things some of them don't need to know about me/us just yet, & big brother is watching, perhaps not closely, and perhaps not yet. So I am struggling to maintain a safe level of self-disclosure. Wise as a fox, gentile as a dove. . . .
I believe in reading, gaining wisdom, and planning ahead. I do not believe that we (collectively) are given wisdom and hints of things to come only for the purpose of squandering them.
DW and I have a homesteading mindset. If you say "city" through clenched teeth, you know how I feel about the many limitations to a homesteading/homemade/homeschooling lifestyle we face in the city where we live currently. We are recovering citiots.
I will speak on things I know, and will remain teachable--acquiring knowledge being my chief interest here.
All the best,
H@H
