Yesterday when I was in Edmonton on a business trip, and I stop by Wholesale Sports to look for a new rifle for my wife. Her preference was a Ruger mini 14 Target so I picked one up for her. Today we went out the back property and fired off about 200 rounds sighting on and just having some fun. Very nice little gun and it preformed flawlessly. (I want one now)

With the problem cougars in the area and me being away from home lately, she said she would feel alot more safe when at home by herself.

Nice rifle - hard to go wrong with a Ruger.

Bragg, is the stock a little long for her....? With nearly no recoil, you could remove the buttbad and spacer.

Ive already removed two spacers for her. I't now set up a bit better for me. (she sand bags it)

I was clicking on the post thinking I'd see a WWII Luger, and thought, "Why would Bragg by a Luger for his wife?". She must be some gun collector or something. :)

Yes. Was in the city today and picked up 4000 rounds as it was on sale. Noticed also today that ammunition in the .223 is running a little scarce around here. Almost bought everything he had.
