Twenty dollar hamburger

I met a man the other day coming back from Moscow. He goes over about once a month. He said hamburgers are going for twenty bucks. Dinner was 60 - 75. He said he was looking at the same menu as the locals.

Is this the inflation we can expect too?

No, I don't believe it is. Look at twenty years ago. In the former Soviet Union a pair of $12 Levi jeans would cost in excess of $150. Jeans are still relatively cheap.

I doubt it partner, because if they're charging that much for a burger, how much is it costing to make it in the first place? Besides, IMHO, the perfect place to set up a Mickey D's is the 9th circle of hell. Anyone that eats in those dumps should have real survival stories to tell.

Commrad cook....they sent it back. Said they weren't paying $20 for a burger.
