Today is the first day of fall. The sun rose majestically in the east this morning. I'm betting it will set somewhere toward the west. As I ventured outside this morning, the birds were singing. As I went to my scheduled appointments today, I said hello to those I met, and they had a friendly response. At the end of last week it looked as though we were headed toward deeper financial trouble. There may still be tough times ahead, but people are resiliant. They will adapt and overcome obstacles in order to survive and thrive. Food is still affordable, gas prices are coming down, sales of homes are starting to pick up again. So I guess a total collapse of the world as we know it has been averted.
On a side note, those of you stockpiling gold to hedge your bets may want to take a look at the historical side of that. While gold has done fairly well in the past few years, it should be noted that over the last 50 years gold has not kept up with inflation, while the markets have......just an observation.
Hey pal, the day's not over! :D :D :D :D

On a side note: When the US dollar is not worth the paper and ink it's printed on, and the Arabs want gold/silver in payment for their oil........just an observation. ;)
I'm still here! ((Kissing terra firma)) Oh thank you GOD! I--AM--STILL--HERE!!!!
