My friend has a M91/30. It shoots nice. He says the 7.62 X 54R is about equivalent to the 308. He got his for $98.00 so, $ 74.00 seems like a great buy.

After you get it you'll have to watch the movie Enemy at the Gates.

I've seen them at the gun shows, used for around $100, so Rebel's friend paid the going rate. So your getting a 20% discount!

I just thought about this, you pay $74 + $25 to the FFL dealer it's shipped to + actual shipping charges $?, cheaper to buy it at a gun show, and you can see the guns condition before you buy it.

i have a 91/30, and love it to death! it's quite loud, but the build quality is amazing. it's highly accurate with the windage sight, and since the scope mount and scope would be $150 for a $75 gun, i'll stick with that.

as an aside, you can get a synthetic stock replacement on brigade quartermasters' web site, i believe. if not there, then just google it.

and it was vasily zaitsef, or however you spell his name. played by jude law. great film!

i got my nagant at big 5 sporting goods for about $85, no shipping involved. very, very good gun.
