Hey guys,

My wife knew I wanted a dog and so my wife found this one needing a home
asap and I just couldnt help myself.

What do you guys think. Can anyone tell me the breed?? 1 hint she is full blood.

Hmmm....little red x in a white box. I suppose that's ok if you like that sort of thing. Me, I prefer more conventional looking dogs.

Wow huge chest, She looks like an Irish setter, I don't know that much about dogs. When I had dogs I kept a bull mastif and a couple blue ticks. My brother has Dobermans.

Eating your dog takes a little practice. For example, If you eat a hind quarter the first day, no problem. They can get along on three legs pretty well. Aw, but day two you start running into problems. If you eat that second hind quarter then they have to just drag themselves along with their front legs and that really slows you down. On the other hand, if you eat a front quarter, they tip over a lot. Knowing how to survive is the whole crux of the game isn't it?

Well, Lilly we just found out has about $1.500 dollars in obedience training. And not a lick in hunting or retrieving game.

Is that able to be taught at 5 years of age for a dog?

When you shoot a duck just tell Lilly "STAY" as you go retrieve the duck. That way you will know where she is when you get back.
