Greetings from one of the oldest cities in the USA, and birthplace of General Electric (woohoo.)
I'm a born again Christian and I believe in the Bible and the Apolcalypse (which actually means revelation).
It is through my religious convictions coupled with my observations on politics, economics and sociology that I have come to be a bit of a survivalist. Right now I'm just probing a bit deeper into the topic and I found this forum interesting. The first thread I read was on two guys going out with nothing but a knife in Canada. I admit I was a bit disappointed by the length at wich everyone debated whether to give information to these guys, or to try and discourage them, but it was an interesting thread all-in-all, with some good tid-bits.
I really enjoyed the Army Survival Manual. My friends and I are (though not with proper discipline) training physically and mentally for survival in less than civilized situations.
Anyone here doing bulk rice or dried bean orders?
