View Full Version : Some was hung in my tree stand.

Well if this ain't creepy.
The farm I hunt on is pretty big with 200 acres of woods we can hunt in and its great hunting I always take game there. But 2 days ago a body was found hanging from a treestand we had built, seems the guy was tied up (wrists behind back) hung upside down and his stomach cut open!
GAWD that is nasty and gonna make for creepy hunts there.

I saw a movie a while back where the drug dealers did that to coke mules, if the coke bags didn't come out soon enough with laxative.

No, the talk going through our department is that it was a satinic cult, there were markings cut into the tree trunk, he was cut from the center of his rib cage to his crotch, the intentines just kinda spilled out after that. I'm not allowed into the investigation since I hunt there and know the owners real well, I did take the detectives through the woods and tracked the group of about four by there shoe prints and sign they left. They had parked up on the road about a 1/2 mile down the road and walked through the woods to get there. Blood was everywhere, they have no leads as of yet and the name is being held until the coroner does his thing.
Won't be using that tree stand anymore though.
Just some sick people out there.

Satanic Cult Schmanic Cult. You gonna let a little thing like that stop you? Lot's of animals have died out there and you didn't get squeamish about it. Show 'em who's boss. Go back out there and hunt it like you own it. If, however, someone offers to tie a rope around your ankles AND they happen to be wearing a black hood and cape you might want to break camp early.

Not afraid of the Johnny Butterbutts running around acting goofy and doing horrible things, I just don't take to hunting in a blood covered tree, plus I ground hunt now anyway, and the stench and smell of blood will drive the deer out for a while anyway.
Apperantly the body had hung there for a couple of days before it was found.

well according to some "experts" on here, you can always identify certain elements of society by the way they look. I'm guessing on the baggy pants and gaudy jewelry thing, but I'm betting it could be a pretty accurate guess according to the resident expert.

Well from my stand point as a cop, I have to say alot of dope boys dress like that, alot of thugs dress like that, alot of wanna be thugs dress like that, and alot of kids from 8 to 28 dress like that and are just good kids. Its a fashion craze for the kids like bell bottoms were, disco was, and all the other fads.
You can't judge a book by its cover, unless your Sam Reeves of course... he is the wizard of OZ... or was that Wizard of ODD?

Hmmm, and you probably would know if there are any Marijuana plantations in that almost 200 acres of woods, right? I would be looking for one of those on the property and it would be my guess that this person out of the body might have stumbled upon it? or that he was involved with it and made somebody angry for some reason.

Now I have seem some hunters (poachers actually) fishing and hunting dressed like the people we talked of, hmmmm wonder if their thugs or not.

I believe that the original thesis, which one may challenge or agree with, was whether or not the dead guy in Beo's tree stand may have been involved in the drug trade and, if so, might there be something indicating that the individual in question belonged to any specific ethnic/socio-economic/fashion trend following groups.

its funny when people attirbute drug dealers to a certain group of people. i live relatively close to an area(as the crow flies) that has seen several ODs and drug busts in the last couple years. guess who those people involved look like?
