one year here for me

well its been a year here i think sarge and trax signed up about the same time to forgive me if i miised anyone else yes nell i know you was here already.
but what has changed in the last year and this is for you guests out there lurking. now while i am military trained and spent allot of time in the mountains to me that was all just camping the last 14 months or so i has jumped head first into wild edibles and while i still feel like a rookie i have learned so much it is awesome
also my fire skill i just started in 08 this was the year i dedicated to starting more primitve fires, i have to advantage of a wood stove so every day for 6 months since last october i started a fire with one match then i started with my swedish fire steel now that feels modern to me so fire by friction is my next goal
but i have learned a tremndous amount here and owe allot of you guys for your tips and felt like i have formed some friendships here as much as that can be said here in the coputer world but i love this site and am excited to see what the next year brings...

I hope to, in the next month, (by the end of July) have a new foragable database system done... I think you'll get a lot of use out of it. I hope you do anyways, it is going to rely on user contributions so someone will need to use it to post pictures.

WE, I think you, Sarge, Nell, and FVR were all here when I signed on, pretty close though. I kinda wonder what happened to a few of the ones from last year that we never here from. there sure has been some good advice (and some wacky ideas) over the past year. I recall rusty, donny h, and a few others that we don't hear from anymore that really knew their stuff. But I have to second what wareagle said, thanks Chris.
