G'evening all. Glad to be aboard here.
It took awhile to find a good survival forum, yet I happened across this one and well. . .its the best so far. I've been wanting to plan a rather long survival trip for about 2 years now and am just getting under way. It's actually my dream to leave society and live away from the stress of normal life.
Anyway, my name is Corey. I'm 25 winters old and live in LA state. I'm kinda a camping/hiking/fishing fanatic. Anytime I get a chance to go I'm on it, even if I have to call in sick to work. Normally I work in the plants, rather long hours unfortunately, and do general maintenance (welding,pipefitting, heavy equipment repair, fabrication, etc). Jack of all trades I guess you could say.
Well, that's me, a total contradiction of charachter; a love of nature, and spending most of my time around steel and machinery.

Hello and welcome. There are quite of few people on here that live in fairly remote locations (can't be off-grid if you use the internet can you?). I'm sure you'll get plenty of advice - take what you want, and leave the rest.

Welcome and if you do a search for wilderness survival this site is the first one (and the best one) that pops up, so again welcome aboard.
