Sitting here watching the New Years celebration already in progress.....and reflecting.
2016 was a pretty good year, all in all....but a couple of scary health occurrences makes me thankful I can reflect back.
Was supposed to drive up to MB place for the evening (about 50 miles)....I called and canceled that...just had take out instead.
Didn't want to go out and run the crazy race with the drunks and cops everywhere.....not really supposed to drink much anymore, anyway... and have trouble seeing at night (surgery Jan 5th)....didn't want to press my/our luck.
I guess I getting old....when you look forward to NOT having to do something.....like a night out......LOL
Instead, I will watching the ball drop from the recliner...after setting the alarm..so as not to miss it....or not.
Kinda searching for resolutions .....don't need to lose weight, go to the gym 3 day a week, had to quit smoking on [email protected] AM in 2013, and bills are caught up.
Supposed to cut down on brewski's, and caffeine.. so far have done pretty well.....(kinda running out of vices?)
So I guess that leaves getting my Mojo back.....And trying to be a better guy....
Have had a tough time getting motivated to get back to a lot of activities I have had to let slide....or just let go.
So....Hoping you all have a Happy and Safe New year.....
