Went and did a little cabin at the lake slingin this weekend and wanted to share with you all ;)

65-70 meter shots according to the range finder with 160-180 g rocks. These are not distance shots but more power shots I'd say. Next time I go up I'll take some distance footage.

I had to remove your video. There is a clickable link on it to your web site. You are not allowed to post a link to any site you have an interest in. The YouTube would have been fine if it hadn't had the link. We consider that spam. It was a cool vid, however.

It's my youtube desciption that you are referring to I think.. I just uploaded the video about 72 hours ago. There are zero and there have been zero "comments" whatsoever since I uploaded it 72 hours ago so I don't know what your talking about.

It's a link within a link within a link that you guys are going on about. I don't appreciate people nit picking. It's not a spam advertisement. I don't consider it spam. I am only trying to share a video of me throwing rocks. period. And to prove it I took the link within a link down. I have every right to be "copping an aptitude." lol. Ridiculous.

PS I have had zero problems from other forums with your same rules.

Besides those rules are ridiculous. So I can have my etsy site on my signature attached to EVERY post I make all over the forum. But if I show a video of me slinging and you guys find a link within that link of the SAME etsy site then it is not okay? lol wtf. Do you see how backwards this is? I call shenanigans!

Rick took away the my "look at me tube" video and has not replaced it in my first post. I took away the link to my etsy site. So look at you. You haven't even read my points and you don't know what you're talking about. I stand firm that I am not spamming or soliciting. Just wanted to show my video jell dawg.

Huntsman, I have read all the posts and watched the video. It is neat what you do.

However, all that neatness has been well overshadowed by your attitude. What I am about to say is meant to help you, so please take note of it.

This site has an owner. His name is Chris and from what I can tell, he is a pretty good guy. Since he owns the forum, he gets to make the rules. To ensure the rules are followed he has enlisted the help of three mods. They are Rick, Crash and Sarge. These three mods are pretty fair and they are consistent. If there is an infraction, they will remove it and give you a little message about it. All they expect from you is a "I'm sorry" or a "My bad" and for you to fix it and move on. If you really think that they are being unfair, give them a PM. Starting urination contest with a mod on the open forum is a sure way to get banned.

The rule that you gripe about is not Rick's rule, it is the rule of the site owner. Rick is just doing his job as a mod on behalf of the owner. Show a little respect, my friend.

I realize he's doing his job but I feel he made a mistake. It's been rather hard to make that point with 5 of you coming down on me with your own forms of disrespect.

#1. I didn't break the forum rules. I posted a link to my video, not a link to sell something. I am not soliciting and spamming. That is a big stretch and that's the issue here.
#2. I have been critical of your rules as they don't make sense, to my expense. Etsy on signature OK but NOT OK on a link within a link, ?
#3. I took down my etsy link on my youtube video and I would like my link restored to my original post.

Now if you are all done messin around it's time to move on.

Since you have been banned, this is for the benefit for others that may read this post. The posting of a link in a signature is something that the owner of the site allows. When it becomes apparent that the only purpose of membership is to spam the site or a multitude of other reasons - banning will (as you have experienced) remove that signature. It saves the staff the trouble of going through all posts and removing links.

Holy schmidt. It's amazing how few folks actually get banned on this forum. I mean, you really, really have to go out of your way to be a complete azzhat, which of course you did. And your argument to being banned is.....(crickets)....that's what I thought. The really sad part is you have some talent and could have fit in here if only you had wanted to. As for the rules being ridiculous, most spammers believe that. "Big guy" will by my nom de guerre from now on when I have to ban someone.

I agree that it takes some effort to get banned here. 10 posts, is that a record?

Whether or not the rules make sense, just accept it and get over it. I guess a "My fault, I won't do it again, thanks for explaining" was too hard? It is amazing what a little manners (or lack thereof) can do.....

Can't tell you how many times the mods had to delete links to my blog, which sells nothing, only shares my pictures and trip reports. They are patient and they don't hold grudges over honest mistakes. But cop an attitude and you are done. You did break the rules. Just because you don't agree with them doesn't mean they don't exist.

Shoot, they take stuff out of my posts all the time.

It's the only reason I have not been picked up by the DHS and water-boarded.

I don't think this one is a record but I could see what was in store by post 5. They were tolerant and let him go until post 10.

Many come hear seeking the greatest survival tool. That would be a combination tool of attitude and adaptibility. Without either, you can't even survive the Internet. Unfortunately, Amazon.com is sold out, haven't checked ebay.......
