View Full Version : Escape after 10 years!

3 young women held for a decade finally escape last night.

Was taught to kick and scream and fight until they kill me or I go free. My father is a retired detective with the NYPD he has some horror stories and always impressed on me and my siblings that dead is better than taken.

10 Years of continous horror its sickening.

I still say that torture is not cruel and unusual punishment in some circumstances. Punishment should always be worse than the injury inflicted on the victim of a crime.

I think castration is an accetable form of punishment here. God I hate the idea of this resulting with guilty pussbags having a chance to ever be free.

On a side note: How is it, that you always get these domestic (our own) terrorists killing innocent people but never scum that actually deserves it? Why hasn't a vigilante group emerged in all these years...serial killers of dirtbags?

I heard this on the radio a little while ago. It truly is survival at it's most base form. I have nothing but the highest regard for those women who have survived, are free and alive. It never ceases to amaze me that in cases like this, it's the perpetrator that is most talked about. The victims bravery and strength is something I am in awe of and as far as I'm concerned the perpetrator doesn't even bear a mention, he's nothing.

TPTB have more fear of vigilance committees and vigilantes than they do of the criminals the groups operate against.


Fear of organized citizens they have no control over is more terrifying to them than the criminal element.

I hope these women and the child get the help and support they will need it would be a shame for them to suffer more since theybare very likely not equipped to support themselves or the child.

Public assitance worthy to say the least.

Kuddos to the man who heard the woman and helped her and the others to be free. These women deserve compassion and for the media to leave them alone but not forget that there are many more cases of this all over the U.S. and the world. I pray for these women for their well being and applaude them for their survival skills.

The guy only living there one year, But everyone else was none the wiser for 10 years. Sad it took that long for the woman to make her move but at least some one was there with a pair enough to help. Kudos to him, until the media finds its time to drag him through the mud, and all the theories of his involvement come to the surface or attacks on his character. People love a hero but they love tearing him down even more.

I applaud the concern shown for the child by the women who placed the police phone call, have to have a huge heart to show any kind of love in that situation. Sad thing is this is a common occurrence across the globe and this is just one more "This can't happen in America" notion brought out into the light of day. We got real problems here at home that instead of ignoring we should be trying to work to correct.

One thing I will say is the media needs to stop grabbing up any and everyone affiliated to these women and broadcasting their sillyness as worthwhile news. I was listening to a cousin of the 14 yr old abducted girl being interviewed and she had absolutely nothing to offer on the subject, same goes for the "Best" friend of Amanda who had to say "I was her best friend" at least 5 times in the span of 1 minute. But the roaches crawl out of the woodwork when your open up the walls of a rotting house.

Edit: Wow I'm a bit jaded here sorry for the rain cloud guys.

I have some experience in similar situations in the work I do. While these women may heal and grow, they will always be affected by those 10 years. So really, a life sentence would not be over the top punishment for the perpetrators. I can't go into detail here but this kind of thing (long term imprisonment for a life long sex slave) is not as uncommon as you may imagine.

San Francisco used to have a very effective vigilience commitee back in the day. I often wonder if other cities should start them up again. Of course it is hard when the bad guys have already been arrested and are in jail.

The one danger of vigilantism is when racism or excessive force come into play, as there is less oversight of vigilantes than of the police in some cases. However, I still think it would be nice to see more of it at times and in certain places. Seattle has a "superhero" presence, which while bizarre, has been helpful on occasion. Phoenix Jones, in spite of his gaudy costume, is well versed in the laws about citizen participation in law-enforcement, and has prevented vandalism, muggings, and theft, as well as assisted in the capture of a fugitive. It's an odd culture, but it's interesting to watch.

To the OP, I'm so thankful these women are finally free. I can't even imagine the strength they must have to survive something like this.

From initial reports, it seems like the police may have dropped the ball several times on this in the past several years.

Yeah nothing solid but a warrant may have been issued at one point for the premises, or the (Rear Yard only?) not really sure been at work all day. Also the mother of the young 14 year old pleaded for an amber alert to be issued and was ignored.

I just watched another painful neighbor interview. Here's a clue, if your an ignorant a$$, please don't subject us to your rendition of the "facts". If you do, make it short. The media is too stupid to say "S.T.F.U. Dumb a$$"...and don't vote, you friggin dumb a$$. It's not that hard.

I always said I'm one really bad day away from becoming a super villian. Vigilante would work too though.

Totally agree. How many videos recently showed uncaring apathy towards those in need of help? This guy did something and it meant everything.

If people lost their protections and privileges when convicted of a felony I wonder how long they would last.

There is a movie coming out: 1 day per year there is a "Purge" all emergency/law services shut down and there is a blackout on laws, free for all. Hollywood is bound to butcher the story and the movie will very likely not be too great, SAW XV or some such, but the premise is interesting.

Pedo's would be walking with a target on their chest for sure.

I hadn't considered that aspect before... the execution of criminals. I thought it was going to be a night ruled by the villainous, but I guess it would make sense that violent-minded vigilantes might exact societal revenge on criminals.

Truth be told the majority of people are decent enough, The deviants are just that deviant outside the norm.

I would throw pedo flaying hunts every year on purge day. I would make sure they stay alive though for the second part, being covered in honey and letting fire ants loose on em.
Truly there is a special circle in the Inferno dedicated to these puss buckets that Dante just didn't have the time, desire, or care to stop on through. Like the toilet bowl circle where all the really nasty sewage of Hell gets dumped, not the regular nasty stuff the stuff that has been used up several times and has a extra disgusting chromosome squeezed in, Cerberus comes by to unload every time he gets full up on gluttons.
