While F-15s are rather expensive there are folks who own P-51s. There are also folks who own Sherman tanks, the other favorite example of what you supposedly have no need for. An Abrams is out of the bracket of collectors at this point, but I expect that someday there will be a private individual who owns an Abrams and possibly the same for an F-15.

F-15 fighter jet- can fly over a destroy a police station ,inflect damage on the pentagon, level large buildings and take out commercial airliners.

AR-15- can shoot small 1/4 holes in things.
